The benchmark index of Qatar Exchange (QE) closed the end of last week’s trading at 12520.66 points, rising 5.2% or 621.03.

QE needs to close at 12550 points, technical analyst Bader Al Darzi said in a statement to Mubasher, adding that maintaining the 12000-point level is important for upward trend.

Al Darzi recommends keeping an eye on five stocks; the first of which is that of Aamal Co which closed at the level of QAR 17.54, penetrating the QAR 16 support level and targeting QAR 18 then QAR 21.

The second stock is Salam International Investment which closed at QAR 17.20 level, Al Darzi added, highlighting that the stock targets the support level of QAR 21.

Al Darzi recommends Vodafone's stock which will see strong resistance at QAR 17.50, should it pass it, it will move to the level of QAR 22.

The analyst also proposed to follow the stocks of National Leasing Holding Co and Gulf Warehousing Co.
